Talks are underway for @felynx to come to Thailand and travel with me for a while.
Personally, I think everyone should spend some time in their life travelling, and I suggest it to everyone. It's the best education, in my humble opinion – getting to experience new things and see how other people live – and is easier to do and more affordable than most people think.
I'm personally spending half a year in Thailand (or more precisely, 21 weeks Thailand and 4 weeks Laos) and everything – flight, insurance, food, beer, sightseeing, accommodation, ground transport, etc. – is going to cost me a grand total of about $5,000. It may sound like a lot, but it's *six months* in paradise and is far less than what it would cost for me to just live in cold Canada for the same period.
Of course that is a lot of money for a 20-year-old Suicide Girl – most of them are starving artists – but I desperately miss Felynx and I'm going to do what I can to bring her here, so she can experience this amazing place.
Which means, I'm going to run up my credit card to cover the flight. It'll be a bit of a burden for me, but it has to be done. When I ask myself if I can afford it, I think about it for a second and say, "Can I afford not to?"
I mean, the chance to spend three weeks or so travelling with and taking TONS of photos of one of my best friends – who also happens to be the most beautiful and interesting girl I know – then yeah, can I afford not to?
We're thinking April at this point. Anyone else wanna come hang out with us in paradise?
