Sitting in a hotel room in Portland... Picked up my brother on the way in, only to discover he is sick with a cold. We're all coming in to see my dad, who is in a bad way. Only my dad can't be exposed to sickies... So, here we are, my brother and I, watching shit cable five blocks away from our father who is losing... Man, a lot of raw deals at this table lately. I did run to my parents' place with the dog - Louie. Louie hates ice machines and got thrown out of the hotel... It was a good excuse to see Dad for a minute.
