Yes, I am still alive - though very distracted lately. Today was a wipeout-the-hard-drive-and-start-from-scratch day. It was worth it though - now I'm running a better system with only stuff I want on it. This whole computer business would be much more rewarding, I imagine, if I knew what I was doing.
In any case, things are going well, although I'm reminded every night lately just how trying our lives can be.
I've found a place in Washington finally. An old, historic home in an intersting neighborhood. The house is HUGE, but the price is right. Of course, this means I do, indeed, have to become a Washingtonian - something I have NEVER desired to become. Now all I have to do is get a hat and I can achieve 'Terrible Driver' status.

As for places to live there. Well right now I am in love with this old house boat. It's in Rocky Point? It will need work but I don't mind that. The price is right too. I own my house(completely paid for) so I'll have the cash to buy and moving expences.
