well today was a good day, save for a bit of pain in the lower lombard. but i'm getting used to that.
today ryan bought a plot for his mother. the cemetary is quite beautiful and seemed very peaceful indeed. there were lots of headstones there with the Freemason symbol on them, oddly enough. it was neat to see.
i think i am going to see the hitchhiker's guide movie this friday. been really looking forward to that. i just wish i had the time to read the book before i see the movie, but i'm bogged down in that respect anyway. in fact, i have to read another 35 pages or so in Chronicle of a Death Foretold for my english class by tomorrow. the book, thus far, blows. i want to read 100 years of solitude very badly, but this book being sucky thus far is deterring me a bit...
on the other hand, things are going well on the religious front. i have made plans for Beltane this sunday to go to the woods and make offerings and the like. oh good times with the cakes and ale!! the goddess will be most pleased with me.
speaking of the goddess, i have also finally received the answers i have been looking for (in a dream) about what my life's path is to be and with whom. it's comforting to know these things and yet disturbing because sometimes i fear that my heart longs for another. i do not wish to defy Her and what is meant to be my place, but sometimes it's hard to do what is required of you.
anyway, to conclude the rambling, for those that care, here is a rough list of what was played at the Tori concert:
1. Original Sinsuality
2. Little Amsterdam
3. China
4. Goodbye Pisces
5. Seaside
6. Space Dog
7. Icicle
Tori's Piano Bar
8. Father Figure by George Michael
9. Moonshadow by Cat Stevens
10. Martha's Foolish Ginger
11. Marianne
12. Mother Revolution
13. Mother
14. Bells for Her
15. The Beekeeper
16. Sweet the Sting
17. Purple People
18. Cool on your Island
19. Leather
I think this is correct...not entirely sure though. anyway, the concert was lovely. i only wish she had played more of her older stuff than stuff from The Beekeeper.
lots of love!
