late night/early morning update. why? cuz i've nothing better to do.
had a going-away party this evening for a friend who is joining the armed services. he's shipping out on monday. 'twas fun. he's fucking weird though (in a good way) and as such he chose to bring an entire turkey to the festivities, complete with stuffing. problem was that everyone was kinda like, hmm, mashed potatoes and gravy would be good too. so a couple people went out and brought back kfc mashed potatoes and gravy and biscuits back for the whole gang! woot!
anyway, teh Witchbaby decided to make things nice and weird/uncomfortable by playing a couple of odd movies: first up was Secretary, which no one had seen. it went over pretty well, which pleased me greatly. i love that movie; so sweet. it's the epitome of the modern romance, that is, finding someone that fits your dark side like a glove and still loves you, not despite your oddities and imperfections, but rather because of them. then we watched Lost in Translation, which is a sad movie, one of those observations on life that makes you sad that life goes that way so often. i just wish lonely old Bill had gotten the girl. why should she stay with a husband that barely awknowledges her existance?
even though maggie glylenhaal isn't very hot, the role she played was wonderful. i'll eventually buy Secretary, but until then i'll just keep renting/borrowing it like i have been.
getting rather sleepy now. turns out i am going to APE after all thanks to a generous gentleman friend. he's just lovely.
that's all for now kids. tune in next time for the dull-ass adventures of teh Witchbaby!
p.s. if you wanna see some shenanigans pictures, they're in the pics folder...cuz i'm sad and i still dunno how to put pix in my posts that are from my own computer. night all!

So you know how to post them in your journal, but just not from a certain place? Or should I help? I just figured it out recently myself.
