i finally saw The Phantom of the Opera today, in theatres. it was so beautiful i almost cried. i probably would have, had my mother and her boyfriend not been there. it is simply the best musical out there, in my opinion. my memories from seeing it as a young girl are beyond compare. it was a briliant light in what was a very dark time in my life. it was hard to see it and come home not disappointed because it was over. bravi, bravi, bravisimo!! the acting was well done as was the singing. the Opera Ghost was a little lack-luster in one particular singing part, but other than that the movie was sensational. i cannot wait to own it on dvd. it made me very much long to see the musical live once more. it has been so long.
in other news, onions leave a taste in your mouth that seems to never go away. i now recall why i don't get them on my sandwiches at the deli.
