My hands are frozenI think Ill need about two pots of coffee and ten hand warmers. We just played in our first parade of the season in St. Albans, VT the Maple Festival Parade. This year its windy and cold, last year I think it was in the 70s or 80s!!!!!! The crowd was nice and I even saw a few kids from schoolbut DAMN, its COLD!!! I think my pipes will thaw by Julyif Im lucky.

I am nearly finished with everything for grad. school and relicensing. I am VERY happy the exams are donemy final, FINAL exam! I hate to keep bringing up the subject, but this graduation and finishing my degreeI didnt think I would make it, hell I didnt even think Id be alive. Its a long, LONG story, but the short version is some of the stuff brought up by this programvery heavy family issues, attachment issues, bullying stuffI think it all affected me in ways its difficult to express. I think thats why this degree means more to me than anything else Ive ever done in life...at least as far as school is concerned. Anyway, water under the bridgea bridge Im still standing on. May 14th will come and I cross over into a new place. I just want you to knowall of you here at SG, especially my special friends hereI couldnt have done this without your love and support. Thank you again.
Now that I have more than a few seconds to myself I started a few portraits and continued to work on others already begun. I have the week off, but we are headed to Maine for some R&R so I wont get much done. I still wanted to post these just so you have an idea of how I workthe process. Each drawing takes about 8 solid hours of work, the ones in color take at least 12 hourssome, like that one of Venom take even longer. So, here for your consideration are a few works in progress. Have a great week all you sweet, gorgeous peopleIm headed back to my drawing table to start another large piece for Mya!

PS I had a bad dream the other night...made me cry...that I couldn't be a member of SG anymore and I lost all of my friends here. I was afraid to go to sleep ...still haven't slept well because of it. I can't even imagine not being here...it would break my heart, actually kill me because I love you all so much. Have a very nice week and stay safe.
