So I did this drawing for Mya. Im trying something different, looser, a rougher sketchier style. Ive been inspired by her to try something Ive been afraid to do for over 40 years of making art. For years Ive done very tight, detailed work. The portraits I do here are that way and I dont intend on giving that style up by any meansI just need to push my work in different directions and this is my attempt at doing so. I took the same chance with my watercolors and it seemed to workI love doing them and have many more in the works. I want peoples opinions, but be kind. I am an old man and very sensitive (that was kind of tongue-in-cheek sort of). Im going to do a few more like this and see how I like the results.
