Happy Thanksgiving Blog,
I wont be around much over the holiday weekend so I thought I would post something today. A sweet and very supportive friend thought I should post part of a message I sent her so here it is, modified a little, but you will understand the gist of it...
I'M DONE FEELING LIKE SHIT ABOUT MYSELF. I AM A SWEET, LOVEABLE PERSON WITH SO MUCH TO OFFER. IF YOU DON'T LIKE ME FOR WHO I AM, A CARING, LOVING, AND SENSITIVE INDIVIDUAL, THEN YOU CAN FUCK OFF! IF YOU LIKE ME, THEN COOL BECAUSE YOU WILL NEVER...NEVER...FIND A BETTER OR MORE LOYAL, SUPPORTIVE AND HONEST FRIEND WHO WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR YOU INCLUDING GIVE UP HIS OWN LIFE. I AM A WORTHWHILE PERSON WHO CAN LOVE AND GIVE AND TRUST AND BE THERE SHOULD YOU EVER NEED ME FOR ANYTHING, IN THIS LIFE AND THE NEXT.
That actually felt good, but what I need to know is, can I believe it? I know, Blog, that I need to find it in myself to believe, but it is so hard. It is a slippery slope and my Shadow (nice Jungian reference) is always there to make me doubt my own words, my own feelings. Then there is that little demon bastard (sorry for all the foul language) who threatens to pull me back to hell...I need to kick his ASS!
So, Blog...and all you sweet, wonderful SG people out there, can I believe what I said? Will you help me? Im sure going to try, but I cant do it alone.
I wish I had a new drawing to post here now with this message. I am working on two watercolors (Parker and Toxic) and a bunch of portraits (Coni, Hexxus, and Amarena among them So please be patient as I draw and paint and try to get some sleep and screw my crazy head back into place.
