It's interesting that pretty much everyone picked an artist around
the time that they were starting out. What is it about big
concerts that just strips the intimacy from a work ?

My best concert in those terms then was seeing Bela Fleck
being opened for the Col. Bruce Hampton and Aquarium rescue
unit in this TINY university bar/club. They were on there way
by to play much bigger gigs, but the program board for our uni
convinced them to play a low key set - somehow. maybe 75
people, no matter where you were you were in kissing distance,
and everybody in the bands hung out like normal guys to
talk to us after the show. Amazing.

So -inspired by kickstand- I did something I haven't done since
_high school_ ... I made my hair black last night.... and this morning
in a silly mood took some nearly naked pictures to go with.

Later on today shall be a new new new little me. Yay!
