as for deconstructing, i just did got some ideas and pinned a lot of odd things together. i don't have a working sewing machine here, and there's only so much i can do by hand, ya know... so i think this weekend i am going to visit my mom for awhile & sew everything up with her machine. i am not very good at it right now, basically i just add lace trim and ruffly things, etc to what i have. i do want to perfect my skills and be able to make all kinds of cute clothes by hand in the future though, that is my goal!
