I love that. Every time I read it, it means something new to me. I read it today and was sad because I have become so responsible and grey. Not vivid.
I am fucking bland, and even worse it's by choice.
Trying to play it safe.
Where did my big thoughts go.
I miss grand revelations,
and massive realizations. connections.
Feeling something new, and thinking thoughts that I am sure have never been thought before.

What was that? Youth? Pot? Optimism?
Well, I am afraid it's gone?
Monotony, age, and pessimism have their dirty little paws all over my ass.

I ate a ham sandwich with some simple Italian pasta salad, and sun chips yesterday. As I ate them I thought how good they were and how that, prolly at the end of the day I would look back and see that as the pentacle of my day.

At that point I applauded my ability to enjoy the simple things in life and kept on truck'n. I've always seen the ability to be content completely underestimated.

I just don't know if I am ready for a ham sandwich to be the highlight of my day very often.

I'm not bitch'n about my life or any one in it I just need new... fucking anything.
