I picked up some awesome music over the weekend. Modest mouse's new one, and an acoustic album from Floater. And Doolittle from the Pixies. I can't believe it took me some ten years to get in to the Pixies. I just never picked up on their music in the ninties. I'm lovin that Modest Mouse. It's really good. And of course the Floater is good, as always.
I met a girl last weekend at a party. And she was very cool. Just as cool as the rest of the people there, and she was playing it straight. Not having a drink, or any of the other things at the party there was to do. A real original. So I've got a date with her tomorrow night. I don't know where to take her exactly. But I'll hopefully have something figured out by then.
At least my ex is being cool enough to keep the kids until nine. So I can get a little Tom time in. Sometimes things click...And it's good.
