Wednesday poetry night, right? Here's one I wrote awhlie ago:
Every Night,
I betrayed you,
I betrayed you by myself...
I just couldn't let you go,
I still can't...

I never believed how bad I needed you,
I never saw it until you were gone...
I see you every night,
I never say what I mean...

I wish to start us all over,
I wish it was possible...
I'd love you all over,
I'd love you like a dream...

I feel like you empty,
I want to fill you up...
I feel like your enemy,
I feel like I'm in a dream...

I lie in bed your number on my phone,
I lie in bed beside you...
I lie here all alone,
I lie here like the lies that are my own...

I listen to this city,
I listen every night...
I listen for your voice to say that it's alright,
I listen every night...

That's my falling out of a relationship piece, every now and then I read it just to remind myself of my short comings. And then I feel alot better. Mostly because I'm not the only one.
