As we stand over 2016, peering down at it, hanging tirelessly by its’ fingers on the edge of our tomorrow, we know that its’ resolve to follow us into the next day will not avail it to do so. Everything has its’ time and place, and for 2016 it’s only hours away from that end. Just in case though, let’s put on our steel reinforced boots and step hard on those fingers tonight. ;-)
The year to come may or may not deliver us into that into that serene place we all seek, but it will allow us to begin again and try, despite the pitfalls of life, to begin the journey anew, just a little bit wiser about the obstacles to avoid, and how to better carry our burdens so as to not weigh us down as much.
Everyone, have fun and be safe tonight, and remember to raise a glass to not only celebrate a new beginning, but to acknowledge, that despite it all, we made it again!
