Whatever happened to Harvey Dangerfield? They were such an awesome band. When I was in High School my friend and I actually got detention because we wouldn't stop singing "Flagpole Sitta". Good times, Good times.

Is anybody doing anything special for Halloween? I can't wait to dress up as something slutty (last year I was a slutty devil) and get drunk on Southern Comfort.

Is is wrong to be an athiest? Wasn't God (god?) formed to explain natural occurneces. Science has pretty much covered everything, so is there really a need for religion anymore?

Is it wrong that I get hot when I watch The Soup? Is it weird that I have a crush on "mankini"? love

undeserving:
harvey danger (dangerfield was the comedian) is still around, they just put out a new album last year which actually doesn't suck. i saw them in madison last year when they were starting their tour with a band called So Many Dynamos, who i'm pretty fond of. honestly, i'd forgotten about them too until that point.

and in case you were wondering... i wandered my way here from the boards because your profile pic is cute and i'm a creep like that.

Nothing wrong with being an Atheist - just means you have "grown-up" and are trying to see the world as it truly is and not as you want it to be. Some people see great comfort in the idea of a God watching over us, or guardian angels - just like children see great comfort and joy in Santa Claus, the easter bunny and the tooth fairy. (I prefer Halloween Town and Jack Skellington myself - but thats another issue)

Not believing in a particular religion without evidence (or in the case of the organized religions - in the face of contradictory evidence) isn't a vice - in fact it means your willing to accept the world/universe in its true form - not impose one on it.

When people ask you how you can be an atheist you can tell them its easy - they are an atheist in respect to every other religion - you just take it one further.

I think not having total faith i an afterlife is also incredibly rewarding - it just means we will live this life to the fullest - since we don't know if there is anything beyond this.
