I sent my girlfriend some assorted chocolates as a peace offering to smooth things over and to apologize for being stupid. I guess i should realize that the old ways i'm used to doing things aren't so well received anymore. You try to help, but in the end you may end up ruining the things you are trying to mend. I'll have to just let nature take it's course from here on out.

In other news i finally seem to be getting the position i was gunning for, but they threw a monkey wrench into it by chopping it down to part time, those corporate assholes. But i did hear word about another full time position within the company that i could get my hands on. i'll be looking into that when i go to work tomorrow.

Just found out that this may not be a battle worth fighting. I have learned that i'm up against the "He's not good enough for my daughter" parental syndrome, so to speak.
