I doubt I will make it as far south as the Los Angeles area. I hate planning because nothing ever goes to plan and then all you have is disappointment. Depending on what all I find to do I might get so bored as to head down that way. After all the nearest Shakeys is north of Sacramento then all the rest are down around LA. I just might have to go there to get my fill of the most delicious pizza ever. And Hearst Castle is almost half way from my starting point as it is. Time will tell.

Just got a call from my parents that my grandmother just had emergency surgery. She had colon cancer that pretty much spread. Something went wrong I guess. I know it is hard for the family, but if you ever want help or advice on how to communicate with her or any exercises that will keep what she does have around as long as possible let me know.
