Random fact about me. I've never had a car accident. Not even a little tap. I haven't even gotten pulled over since 2005 (and even then I didn't get a ticket, they just warned me for a brake light that was out - even though it wasn't when I checked later, I think they just wanted to harass the girl with an old car full of bumper stickers).

Which makes me wonder.... I've heard a random statistic that everyone will be involved in a car accident at some point in their life. I was a passenger in a car that was rear ended, in 2000. My friend was driving me home after school (I was a sophmore), we were stopped behind about 10 cars at the stop sign. I looked behind me and saw a car speeding toward us, they weren't paying attention. Plowed into us going at least 30-35. Because I was looking behind me, I got severe whip-lash and had to see a physical therapist for almost a year. But it wasn't that bad.

I worry that since I haven't been the driver in the accident, and haven't had any small accidents of my own, that one of these days I will be in an awful accident. Scary when I have 2 small kidlet passengers with me at all times. It is a very big fear of mine. And scary since I live in southern CA where freeways are everywhere.
