Isn't it amazing what hearing a certain song can do to you? Just from hearing the opening notes, you can suddenly go back in time. It's the best feeling in the world!
I bought a few cd's from the lovely Lyxzen, and I put in Franz Ferdinand (their S/T album), and was instantly taken back to 2004, the first time I heard it while working at Cheapo Discs in Moorhead, MN... and going out for a cigarette with the manager, the spring sun shining on my face, and I remember I just wanted to run inside and listen to more. I felt all that... the warm sun, the smell of the cold MN air... and I love that feeling so much!
So... what songs bring back memories for you?
