So my grandma is doing okay. Memory is pretty much shot, but she's doing as good physically as she can I suppose. Thanks everyone for the kind words.

I've been very happy seeing older MR sets go up. I was quite happily surprised to see Nya's set this morning.

Anyone have any good recipes for someone on a diet? My husband went on a diet and now all of my recipes are shot because I love anything butter/cream heavy. crap. Tonight I'm doing something easy, grilled chicken salad with homemade whole grain bread, and grilled corn on the cob (great sprinkled with paprika). But I can't do this forever!

Now i just have to wait til Monday for the claims representative to call me. Which sucks b/c I only got Liability which probably won't cover the damages.

I doubt I will make it as far south as the Los Angeles area. I hate planning because nothing ever goes to plan and then all you have is disappointment. Depending on what all I find to do I might get so bored as to head down that way. After all the nearest Shakeys is north of Sacramento then all the rest are down around LA. I just might have to go there to get my fill of the most delicious pizza ever. And Hearst Castle is almost half way from my starting point as it is. Time will tell.
