windowsill

good evening. i have not been here for awhile. for some time now i have been without internet access and now here i am, five days away from my set going up and i have barely been here at all.

last night i received a computer from my friend katie but the screen is dead. i'm taking it in this weekend to get it fixed and then i will have proper interweb access, for now i will use my girl friends computer when it is available.

so, where are we? then again where am i?

a list of sorts:

- i have moved into a new home dubbed the enchanted house. from the outside it looks like a forested cabin and inside it is warm, spacious, and magical. this house is going to be splendid for the next year or so. we will garden, draw, have guests, smoke hookahs, have dance parties, and garden parties for sure. oh! and cook-ofs, many will happen here for sure. best of all i get to live with my three best friends!

- my job is awkward. i love making coffee for people and learning about their lives and such. it seems like such a low job but i really enjoy it. it's just too bad my boss does not know how to manage the place properly *sigh*

- i went to seattle on the long weekend, for a day and a half. i ate at five vegan restaurants, went to the henry art gallery to see the james turrell instalation, had coffee and stumptown,and had a ridiculously trashy but fun night at the ace hotel with my girlfriend [this consisted of eating various foods dipped in fancy chardonnay mustard, drinking two tall cans of pabst, smoking in our room in the most amazing bed i have ever slept in, and watching three hours of what not to wear].

- my friend justin is moving into our solarium for a month while he looks for a new place to live.

- we have a cat now, her name is storm trooper, too bad i'm allergic to her. maybe this will get better.

i am going to stop here. i need to awake in five hours and should probably be sleeping.
