Hey guys.
Quick update while I can still keep my eyes open.

NUMBER ONE.

It still amazes me how many people read my blogs and leave comments that make me smile, and how many people support me despite never having met me.
It melts my heart, seriously.

NUMBER TWO.

I got my first tattoo last week
I took the day off work and dragged Zariya along with me to Sims Tattoos in Croydon, where I was inked by the fabulous Dor Stocker.





It came out exactly how I pictured it in my head, I couldn't have possibly asked for anything better.
As soon as he drew it out, my heart skipped a beat.
It's perfect

I figured I'd probably get a few questions about what the tattoo's all about, so I thought I'd just explain it now and save you the hassle of asking.

The words are from a song called When Darkness Falls by Killswitch Engage, a song that I have loved since I first heard it and by a band I respect greatly.

To me, the lyrics are about my depression. I've struggled with depression since I was 14, so it's always been a massive part of my life, and a huge influencing factor on my character. The last year or so I've changed beyond belief and I've had to mature a hell of a lot, particularly in the last six months. I've learnt that depression has made me who I am today, and every dark time I go through builds and shapes my character, meaning I come out of each episode a different person, a stronger person. This is what the lyrics mean to me. When you think of going through depression as a positive, as an opportunity to learn and develop, it doesn't seem so scary anymore.

And I may not be depressed forever, but it's still important to me that my tattoo serves as a reminder that no matter how shitty things get, it'll all be okay in the end.

NUMBER THREE


I got to spend the weekend with the luverly Ortus who very kindly put me up for three days and fed me junk food and beer I left at 6am this morning and went straight to work, dragging myself in wearing smelly clothes with no make-up and unkempt hair at 10:40. But surprisingly, I'm wide awake this evening I spent most of the weekend blackening my lungs, watching movies and oh, we went to the Edward Scissorhands ballet, which was amazing... But not without fault.

NUMBER FOUR


I have a couple of set ideas in the works, one to be shot with the lovely Miro and another with my partner in crime, Tragique.
Hopefully anyway.
So keep your eyes peeled!
You won't be disappointed, I promise.
