Please forgive my rant but,

NPR recently did a piece on an "explosives camp" for collegebound teens, a fantastic idea IMHO; hopefully, this'll draw more unsuspecting kiddies into the sciences. Its sad that practically NOBODY goes into science for science's sake; I suppose those obnoxious pre-med people that cant make the cut help to fill out the ranks; but we dont want them, you can totally tell that those people are just phoning it in. They obviously dont give a shit about anything having to do with the subject, they're just around because they cant think of anything better to do with their time and they're either too lazy or not creative enough to go the extra mile and find other interests. Why even fucking show up if your just going to waste everybody's time? There should be a SEPERATE pre-med major to stop the premeds from fucking everything up for those that actually CARE about the subject at hand and want to learn more and want to someday become REAL scientists. Meh, now I'm all worked up... I think that's enough hating for one day
