But seriously, we have 2 controllers, 1 nunchuck, and enough games to keep me amused for a very very long time...
I REALLY should be preparing myself for gradschool, but this is a fantastic diversion. And besides, the whole me getting into grad-school hasnt even really sunk in, the idea of it seems unreal to me (just like a lot of things lately), there's no harm in putting it off I suppose (just temporarily).
I picked up the new (not new anymore, I suppose) my chemical romance album. And as much I'm not usually a fan of theirs, I've got to say, its pretty darned good, I love albums that are coheisive (did I spell that correctly?, meh) and tell a story; and this one does just that, and it does it well too, so I'm totally satisfied.
Also, on the suggestion of my buddy luis, I picked up CSS, its a pretty keen brazilian synth-rock-(pop?) based out of Sao Paolo, it sounds like a cross between cibo matto and le tigre vibe to it; and I totally love that whole quasi-technoey feel. My hat is off to them, their lyrics are great, much <3 for the "music is my hot hot sex" song.
Also, picked up drywall patching supplies, gotta fill in a big hole. I figured out, too late, that I really dont know what it is that I'm doing with the whole alignment/sawing thing; I only realized this as I thrust the drywall knife through the wall. There was an awkward pause after that, and I decided to finish up that cut then regroup. I think I'll do that thing next tuesday... yeah, that's right... tuesday.
