So, yeah, its been eventful
Thursday was thanksgiving, delicious turkey was abundant along with savory stuffing and cwaaayzee cranberry sauce. Opted to do the black-friday thing with chase and his friend ryan, drove to santa monica where I had ham & a fun conversation about politics, face replacement, and the DVORAK keyboard with an older english gentleman and a philipino artist... then to burbank. at 2am we headed out to campout, We first checked out best buy, it was freaking packed, so we bounced over to frys. they had some decent shit there , not that I was buying anything, and the line wasnt too long so we decided to stay. I'm such a lightweight, I slept in the car until like 4:30, when I staggered out to the line.
I wasnt really after anything specific, so once the torrent of people I was a part of rushed into the store, I milled about (not too motivated considering I supposedly stayed up all night to be there) and wound up with beck's new album and the firefly boxed set, it was great.
Friday was uneventful, mostly just recouperating from being retarded and trying to deprive myself of sleep the night before
Saturday night I went and hangded out with jeff, brian, and tala. it was hella fun, yay for board-games, scrabble ftw!
sunday I went to church for the first time in awhile, it was pretty refreshing; I do consider myself a pretty spiritual person regarfdless of denominational stuff, its just splitting hairs. People ask me what religion I am, and I'm not entirely sure what to tell people; but I guess that's a conversation for a different day. Later, I went to the bmezine bowling alley mixer thingy in glendale, but it was just a normal bowling alley... I should've brought my shoes, regardless of the fact that I was alone in a bowling alley 40 miles away from my home, I had fun anyways. I had a guiness with a group of nice strangers... very nice... very strange, people. I stuck around for an hour or two; but decided to bounce once the drunken belligerance became too intense, also, I had to pee. Good times!. It was an excellent excersize in socializing, and I'd definitely do it again... though it would've been nice to have hung out with the bme people.. but hey, you cant have everything
oh oh! also, I'll be giving my 2 week notice on friday, I'm so excited! I've got that interview next wednesday and that or a different job (I <3coffee) or gainful unemployment along with studying for the mcat will occupy my time until I hear back from grad-schools.
Until then, there'll be much recreation... for a good time, call bill!
