Man i had a strange day. That Dene Medicine man that i did those sweats with just showed up out of the blue right after i purchased that pelt. i was going to lunch with that charity i had worked for last year. He wanted to say goodbye to me. I never met a man quite like him. When i first met him he seemed to know just about everything about me without me even opening my mouth. he is dying of cancer right now and only has a few weeks to live. I told him about that dream about being up in the mountains down in the desert and he told me it had to do with me showing people there how to open there eyes on what is really going on in the minds of the people there. Also that i should be telling americans on how fear has goverened there lives. He was just down there with the confederation and told me a story about how he told these americans that there flag was just a rag anyway. That it was just holding them onto a lie. Of course i felt that way for a while. Even when i was in the army, i never thought the flag meant anything. America is about the people in it and not the myth of america. The last thing that he told me was that his spirit was going to find me down in albuquerque to bother me for all the years im down there. Ill really miss that man.
