....too much homework, all boring and hairsplitting and uninteresting.

one of my few friends that ive met here, diane, is moving next week to san fran. pretty short notice, but at least i got to see her before she takes off.

....im pretty sure my new friend is smittin on me. she invited me over for a pampering-type dinner tomorrow. my sister, who has yet to meet her, says i hafta kiss her simply because she bought a new bed and is scheduled to have it delivered that night while im there. pretty funny coincidence. my sisters all about being a hostess-with-the-mostess and dinner party etiquette expert. the first thing out of her mouth after i told her about the date was, whats her hostess gift? i said, a bonzai tree, she said, cool, you should do her.....

i think for x-mas gifts this year ill buy gifts for an angel/giving tree to help kids who wont get be getting much, and do it in the name of my friends and family... just send them a card that says, for x-mas you gave little johnny a steve austin action figure that he specifically asked for or you gave emily a bell hooks book to read while she was in treatment i get kinda sick in the stomach when the thought of shopping for adults creeps into my head, but kids are a different story.
