my poor mentee... up to her neck in work, overwhelmed and already not feeling sucessful. all them behaviorally challenged kids, two suspensions to re-admit already, the one this Friday will be a challenge. we've been working too late together, she's been near tears a few teimes, and her daughter wrote about not seeing her enough.... 
i outta do something to give her a boost soon besides just being a good listener...
my penmanship on the SMARTboard is atrocious.... i hope the kids appreciate that.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is how i spent a fewhours last week. thus far i'd say it gets 7/10 stars- chucking stormtroopers around is too fun, but the dying stuff gets old.
i actually went out to a b-day celebration last weekend on a whim and met a few pleasant new folks. rapid city-small-world stuff is really rather amusing at times. i think that's the first time i've closed down a bar without seeing a show in years...
