took a road trip home with my sister & cousin. i hit a baby deer at 11:30 at night, just outside of billings. following his mom, about a lane width behind, saw her and swerved to try to go inbetween them. 75 with cruise control doesn't give a guy much of a chance at night. hit him right in the head with the driver's side headlight. died instantly i'm pretty sure, which is good, better than hitting his rump or having him go under the middle of the car. had two good spasms as a semi passed by, as he was laying in the dead middle between the two lanes. small guy, light enough for me to pick up and carry him to the ditch. pretty sad. really shitty that it cost $180 to fix a damn headlight.
