So I have once again been blown away by the beauty that is Literature. I just read the new novel My Dreams Out in the Street, from my favorite poet/writer Kim Addonizio. It was gripping, emotional, and the most effectively written piece of fiction I've read in a long time. I've followed Addonizio's work for several years now, and personally she has been the biggest influence on me as a writer. I'm very excited and inspired to see that she has created something so spectacular. Books like this remind me why I spent 6 years in school studying Creative Writing.
