This Thursday marks the beginning of my 26th year of life. Yes I hit the downward slope of my twenties. My birthday celebration will most likely consist of me sitting alone in my room while reading formalist poetry, as it has the past couple years. But I wont complain, because I really rather be doing that than most things.

Well this past weekend I did something that I havent done in a very long timesit on the couch and watch endless amounts of television all weekend long. I havent done this probably since high school, mainly because I really dont find television very entertaining. Normally I only watch about 2-1/2 hrs of network television a weekcurrently its Veronica Mars, Rollergirls, and The Boondockswhich I only watch thanks to a friends DVR. And I tell ya, it sure has changed since my day. I mean when did MTV turn into Reality-tv TV? Do they ever show actual music videos anymore? And when did VH1 start having black people on it? The weather channel doesnt even show the weather forecast anymore. Maybe these changes happened years ago, but Im just realizing this stuff now. And one more thing that may cause a quarrelFamily Guy really isnt that funny.
