Stayed in Texas for an extra week. I drove down on November 3rd last year, and on the 5th when the shooting happened....my husband's sqdn was put on guard duty AT THE SHOOTING SITE. I saw him at 8am on the 5th, and then 8pm on the 7th. He was gone that long. I called all of my teachers, told my dad, and paid Reekie for a hotel and gas and stuff to drive back so she didn't miss work. My mom got me a flight home after I was there for alittle while. Every other day he had to pull guard duty. He still hasn't stopped thanking me for it. At the end of our trip, we were engaged. =]
