I spent a good amount of last night just going through people's blogs on the site -- I like just reading what happened to them in reverse, how I'm getting the latest thought process they had and then getting what delivered said process into their life. Particularly boundcreature, aegiswings, and TheFullNelson. I've done this before -- usually with random people -- but...

i keep tabs on TheFullNelson and AegisWings, not because they are gifted writers or anything like that, but because those two, amongst everyone else on the site, just really let it fly. It's a free-for-all of honest around those parts.

I very easily could have, but logic got in the way of any physical altercation. He was only two inches taller than me, but probably weighed at least thirty more pounds. Thirty pounds of muscle, not fat. Plus, he had a co-hort, so I didn't bother trying anything.

Apparently "faggot" was on his word-of-the-day calendar. I did ask him if he wanted to "suck my cock", and he never declined the offer. I then told him that he had some issues he needed to deal with, and he left.

If you burn your houses
will you ever be able to go home?
Is this how we end
with eyes as slits and mouths foamed
Retching bile onto the world
Until everything's melted
if you could have saved it
would you have held it
And claimed this world
as your own?

Well, Dillinger sounds inspire odd lyrical nonsense.

PART ONE

It was times like this that Mikey wondered where he could possibly live his life day to day. In front of him laid all the money he had -- seven crumpled twenty-dollar bills, and some loose change. Three quarters and a couple of pennies.

This was all the money in his life at this moment. And rent was overdue by half a month...

My Top 3 Movies of All-Time
Exhaustively Decided by Myself
- When I say exhaustively, I mean it. I've watched more movies than I should have. In fact, I'm rewatching Raging Bull for the seventh or eighth time as I write this, and I already watched Goodfellas just before, and last night I wagged Sisterhood of...

Two could be complete without the rest of the world.
Two could be complete without the rest of the world.
Do it for the people that have died for your sake.
An entire generation that has nothing to say.

How'd you make your way to me?

Let's say you made a deal with me
And I got your name and your home address.
You're all...

My principle suggestion can be described as follows:

Two-hundred or even one-hundred and fifty years ago there was no television, no internet, no major library networks, no mass of information for the people. When someone from that time period would stand in front of a six-foot tall, full-color painting, it must've been like standing in the presence of God. We are jaded, in that we have access to all fine art on a monitor screen or in the pages of a book. I argue that art had increased worth back then because it was so sparse and had less competition for attention. This is not to say that great art cannot exist now, just that if Egon Schiele was drawing today, his work would be competing with porn sites and reality TV, etc... I guess my main point is imagine the kind of impact music, painting and reading had without radio jingles, tv and advertising infiltration.

people need to learn and understand the difference between a work showing the complexity, concern for craft, passion and sheer joy of Lord of the Rings trilogy and a paint-by-numbers action flick like, I dunno a Vin Diesel or The Rock movie.

Eh, I haven't slept much, so excuse me here. If we ever meet we'll bandy twither on pop-culture ephemera of the last seventy-five years.

So my car's ignition is fucked. Who knows how much it'll cost... all I know is that it took my keys, and won't let go of them again.

To further explain: this morning, I start my car to remove snow/warm up the inside. I go inside to finish getting ready -- and when I come back out, my car's engine has mysteriously died. At first,...

It's so nice to relax.

I'm in Bat Country (read: zombiesdontrun's apartment), listening to First Impressions of Earth, and pretty much being a snotty brat on the message boards here. I haven't felt this comfortable in a long time.

My screenplay's only three pages in, but I feel I may finally have something here.

To explain the story in one fell swoop:

There...

I think I would have seen the photos by now if that had happened. I have seen some pictures of all of the other shit I did.

I miiiight like the dark ending more. But I'm cynical have a new hatred for romance. The less cynical side of me cannot pick which ending I prefer. I guess I told you that before, though.

You were talking about an SG who lost weight...I'd like the inspiration...but what was her name?

How did a movie that looks that good slip by me so easily?

It's almost midnight. I should be at my friend's house right now, and I'm not. I overslept, and I'm not entirely sure where to find his house, anyway. I'll head over in the morning, where I can actually see things that aren't on the road.

At midnight, I begin work on...

I feel the need to point this out:

A woman and her daughter had walked into our theater in the mid-afternoon; they looked about at the posters and banners and whatnot. The woman saw the Chronicles of Narnia banner that hung above our utensil island.

"Do you want to see that?" she asked her daughter.

The daughter, somewhere in that last shift of puberty, about...

excellent entry. although i must confess i've not seen any of the movies. maybe i'll give Kong a try, it was just really intimidating at that length and with no Aragorn. I mean, come on, why bother making a movie without Aragorn in it?
darthspielberg:
the man has a point...what is a movie without our handsome king....
