Tomorrow I'm recording what will be (hopefully) the first of many MST3K style commentaries to be Podcasted -- our first movie is the immortal summer shitknocker, Van Helsing.
It'll be interesting.
So I finally got into SGBoston. I always forget that I applied to regional groups. Probably because they're usually private and take a while to be accepted into. Now I just gotta wait for an event and my schedule to match up, and I'll actually meet some of these wacky, wacky people.
I'm bored; watching a lot of Superman Returns production diaries. Everything I hear/see about this movie gets me more and more excited about the direction the movie's finally going in, and in how Time Warner's actually taking care of these mythological beings much better than, say, 20th Century Fox. They've got people that know you shouldn't "contemporize" the characters -- just let 'em fly and don't tell anyone when it's actually happening.
Speaking of contemporizing and how Fox has fucked up classic comic book characters -- there are no plans to "MST3K" Fantastic Four, because it'd be too horrible to watch again.
God dammit -- if Bryan Singer doesn't stop sneaking in these incredibly beautiful shots and peeks at scenes from the movie, I'm going to kill him. June 30th is too far away.
