Goddamn Lost made me download Mama Cass's "Make Your Own Kind of Music".
I will now do several hundred pull ups, eat high-protein drinks of... stuff like eggs and things... and shoot strange glowing stuff into my arm.
Then all I have to do is wait for Matthew Fox to come a-runnin'. Then a-trippin'. Then I'll wait seven years or so.
I still think it would've been weirder/scarier/funnier if they had chosen Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons's "Walk Like A Man". Imagine walking through an underground bunker forty feet deep into a monster-infested island, waving a gun in the dark as you hear "Walk like a maaaaan... talk like a maaaaaaan... waaaaaaalk like a man my son..."
I'm in a silly mood today. I really don't want to have to deal with the bullshit of work tonight -- they're going to blah blah blah on about how if I had a problem with the schedule, I should've gone to someone with the problem -- but the point is, they knew I said I wasn't going to be in the state. You don't schedule someone to work if they're going to be off across a border somewhere for the day. It's no fault of mine they only scheduled two people the entire day -- one of them until 7 at night from opening -- because they can't actually achieve hiring new people.
New York's going to be so much more relaxing. I cannot wait.
