So, Lost had a different premiere than I expected. Predictable, though.
Bought a new Zippo yesterday, since my other one has long since crapped the bed. Instead of black, it's silver. Hopefully it'll last longer.
I called out of work today -- mostly because two and a half weeks ago, I had told my manager through e-mail that I couldn't work that day. I said I wasn't going to even be in the state.
And I still got scheduled. So I called out. Store director's a dick, so he basically threw the blame onto me for getting scheduled. Essentially, if someone else makes a stupid mistake in the schedule, I'm obliged to work that mistake?
He also said I should've talked to the manager who scheduled me on that -- I think it'd have been easier if, you know, I had actually worked with her prior to today. She doesn't even appear to be in today, either.
I definitely am looking into other employment.
Anyway, there's Corpse Bride tonight, me getting chewed out at work tomorrow, and then the rest of the weekend.
I swear, if they fucking schedule me on any day through the 3rd to 6th... they better not give me any bullshit on being "obliged" to work then, since I sent out that request two months ago.
