I forgot how classic the original Halloween is. Me, of all people. I grew up on that movie, Fraggle Rock, and Gremlins.
But thanks to the 25th Anniversary DVD, it's all come back to me now. It's once again one of my favorite movies ever. Psycho with a silent Norman Bates. John Carpenter is a fucking genius, how could I forget that?
I really want to make a horror movie. Stick to the basic tenets of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Halloween -- use suspense and anticipation instead of gore and a body count. Let's face it, there hasn't been that much in great horror in recent years.
Now all I need is that spark of an idea.
I'm thinking of a crazy idea involving this site and my birthday. You'll likely be disappointed by it if you stick around to read the July 3rd entry, y'know, but I still think it'd be fun and kinda hilarious.
