mistake #1 when rotating work shoes ( i have 3 pairs ) and you put on one pair that you haven't worn in a while and notice that it's just doesn't fit well any more beacuse your feet have gotten used to the slightly larger pairs do not wear said shoes into work as horrendous blisters will result.
ouch.....
so here i sit, pen knife in hand, piercing through the calloused skin over the blisters trying to relieve the pressure so i can wear shoes again. just thought i'd share

I've been breaking in new boots at work the past couple of weeks. Luckily, I haven't gotten any blisters, though do they still fit a bit tight.
Yeah, never fat bastard, though for a brief while I was called Spicy McHaggis. I wasn't a fan of that either really.
Shortly after I was told "You just bought yourself the hand surgeon", I called my parents. It was 11PM here, so 9PM in CO. The very first words out of my mouth? "Hi. This is not a social call."
Seven-and-a-half years later, it's still a running gag.
