i was on my lunch break at work enjoying a tasty cup-O-ramen
when over the plant intercom..."will nothdruft, please report to the dry end of the corrugator. the water is overflowing!"
apperantly the coating applicator, which i had on washup cycle, was overflowing and nobody could figure how to shut it off. *sigh* so, when i finished my break ( yeah, i'm a dedicated employee) i went back to my work station to find two supervisors standing next to the applicator. not knowing how to shut off the water ( i guess the two big black valves that read OPEN and CLOSE, which were set to OPEN was too obvious) they shut off the main water supply. now, standing next to the water filled drain pan, they were scratching their heads as how to get the water out. i assume they thought the sump pump had quit. walking over to them i looked at the situation for about 3 seconds. reaching my hand into the 3-4" of water in the pan i removed the piece of scrap paper which had covered the drain. tossing it aside and saying " that was difficult...." i just turned and walked away shaking my head. yep, folks, that's middle management.
