walking home from doing laundry today i was caught in a short but powerful thunderstorm. i was completely soaked by the time i got home but, as i turned into my driveway, i saw the most amazing thing, a rainbow. it was at the curve in my drive. it was about 10 feet high and about 40 feet in length. i walked right up to it and i could see the shimmering light of the colors. it was like nature said " sorry for getting you wet, here's a lttle present for you "

Vincent Gallo submitted a rough cut of Brown Bunny to the Cannes Film Festival. Everybody hated it. He went back and took 1/2 an hour out and that was released "ADULTS ONLY" (or X or whatever you want to call it), in the american theater. I drove to Chicago to see it, and believe me, it's "unedited". Basicaly, he just tightened up some of the scenes so they don't get too tedious. See, most of the movie is him driving across the country anyway. It's more of a portrait of loneliness and depression than an actual narrative movie.
