what an emotionally draining week.

first a misunderstanding with a friend which i was beating myself up over and today a woman i work with confronted me about how i'm treating her. i think she is a nice person but i just don't care to work with her that much. i have mentioned it to some co workers and it got back to her. you reap what you sow.

i admit i may be overly critical of her as she is doing my old job , one which i had done for 12 years. and my frustration of having to keep an eye on her due to her lack of experience may have bled over into my tone with her.

she and i talked it over and i am going to make a more concerted effort to keep in mind her feelings and not be so tough on her. sometimes my bad temper seeps into my actions without me really noticing. i must be more vigilant. i forget there is more than one way to hurt people.
