20 mile bike ride today. it felt great except for the fact the heat started to get to me in the last 3-4 miles. going to see king arthur today. hopefuly it is as good as the reviews say. i like the archaic mass combat movies ('cept for troy.. i avoided that one..) biggrin maybe it's the call of my nordic berzerker blood.

i saw spider man 2 today. well done! it almost made me cry a few times.

great insights, man. Open-mindedness is truly harder to come by, because everyone has a set opinion on everything, just like you said. And if we truly want to weigh both sides of an issue, we are trampled in the ensuing ideological battle that ensues.

Look at any so-called "news" show with guests with opposing viewpoints. It without fail turns into a shouting match. I'd like to hear both sides of any particular issue. Which is why I turn to the mellow tones and hues of PBS and NPR. smile

Perhaps what we need in this country is a stillness, a quietude.
