News update:

I get to have surgery. My upper left kidney needs to come out. That'll leave me with only 3 operating kidneys.

You read it right.

I found out that I have four, count 'em FOUR kidneys. It's a birth defect.

A mutation. A benevolent one. An evolution?

As a God-fearing Catholic, I'm supposed to know that evolution is a joke and that the entire world is only about 48 hours old and that Moses lived to be 200 and that Jonah magicked a way to see through a whale when he was inside its stomach. But I have a mutation that is NOT harmful--in fact, without the kidney duality i'd be down to just one after this surgery--if such a mutation were genetic or passed to me from my parents (it could be--obviously it went undetected in me for 24 years and only then because I had kidney trouble) AND I could pass it to my children . . . that would be one of the "impossible" genetic mutations, evolutions, that Christian "scientists" have claimed there is no proof of.

I can't stand fundamentalists because of their self-imposed blindness. It would really make my day if I could use ME as an example to finally open a few peoples' eyes.
