So I just got the most recent leak from Axl Rose (well, not him personally, but he's friends with the internet and the internet gave it to me). Thank you so much! I now have a nice awesome copy of 9 of the 14 songs that will be on the final version of Chinese Democracy and holy shit, they sound AMAZING. AMAZING. I mean, I LOVE GnR. I love Axl's voice. So it's only obvious that I'd love this. I mean, yeah does it suck that there's no Steven Adler, Duff McKagan, Slash, or Izzy Stradlin? Of course it does, but Axl was always the one who had the crazy ideas to make these huge orchestrated pieces like November Rain, Estranged, Don't Cry, etc. So thanks to him, this CD sounds incredible.

Today was meh so far. I went to school which was great. I have a shit ton of reading to get done right now which I'm not really looking forward to, and then I'm going to go on a 20 mile bike ride. I did a bunch of jumps and stuff yesterday with my brother for a few hours and that was fun as all hell, but I want to actually ride for distance today. I find it much more enjoyable than riding around jumping off stair sets, benches, and such.

As far as things to do, I have band practice tomorrow which is going to be incredible all things considered. Then afterwards, I'll be coming home to do nothing at all except sit on my ass and smoke weed while listening to music. I also wrote a new song which sounds incredible so far, so I cant wait until it's finished. I have to get my friend to convert it to electric, write his lead part, so I can then write my bass part and then give it to our drummer for the drums. Our rhythm's job is already done for him since I wrote the rhythm portion already. Good times.
