Okay, so I have been seriously thinking about leaving SG land. I know I've said this before, but I'm serious this time. More serious than usual. I dunno... things don't seem to be as much fun as they used to around here. I've met a lot of great people on this site and I'm so grateful for that, but maybe it's just time to call it quits. I used to think SG land was different than the real world. Like it was this safe little haven where the underdog is not the underdog and the unpopular dudes can be popular and shit like that. Well, it's actually the same no matter where you go. It never ceased to amaze me how some people can write shit in their journal, like one sentence such as "my farts smell like tuna fish!" and get like five pages of replies. Whereas, someone could write an intense, heartfelt entry about something really serious and get almost no response....hmmmmm. It kind of makes me wonder. And who knows, maybe the tunafish farty person (I made this up as an example, I'm not bashing anyone) knows more people. But still... It just seems like a popularity contest no matter what. I'm not bitter about anything, I've had a blast around here. But sometimes you gotta call it quits, ya know? Before, it was a great escape from the real world. But I've come to realize, it's no different. And maybe it's time I start concentrating on the world outside my window, instead of inside my PC.

I was trying to walk around an oldman in a corner store and he turned and said "excuse me little fellow, you trying to get by." I was so embarrassed I couldn't even answer, I just hurried to get the hell outta the store. I guess it bothered me so much because everytime I wear a hat people start assuming I'm a tomboy.

i hear ya. i understand ya. i support ya. but i will miss ya but you know this already. and as i might leave as well. but we'll hang out soon. so who needs SG. well unless there's a big SG bash in P-Town, c'mon...
