Wow.... My very first post. Where should I start?? I've been on this longer than what i've thought. I had actually forgotten until I noticed the charge on my credit card. I figure that since i'm getting charged, I shoud just enjoy the site and atmosphere. Fuck, I might just meet a few people that would in some fashion have similar interests/disinterests as I. So anyway, i'm sort of new when it comes to this (besides the occassional entry on Myspace). As much as I'd like to, I just don't seem to keep up with these things. Maybe this coud be a dawn of a new era? I doubt it, but it's worth a shot.
On to me... At first glance, most people that don't know me would never see me as the type to be "punk rock", if that's actually a correct label. I've only been interested in punk rock for 11 or 12 years. I'm more into old school rather than the new age teeny-bopper bullshit. I dress conservative, no longer dye my hair, or have piercings. What's left are tattoos and scars. However, my love for the punk/goth scene hasn't left me. I guess I just have to abide by certain rules in society for my kids' sake. Sometimes, you have to modify rather than change, in order to make something of yourself. All in all though, I love the music, love the shows, and love the life. My preference in the lifestyle or music will never change. I just have to dress "decent" to keep food on the table.
I'll add more later. I've got a headache. I have surgery Oct 30. I'm having Anterior Cervical Fusion done on my neck. That will give me 3 months off of work (paid, thankfully) so I'm sure that i'll then have more than enough time to add to this.
