Man I really like that. The emotion reminds me of Peter Murphy's lyric "in the shadow of a smile" From the Bauhaus song 'Mr Moonlight' The moment after the smile has faded. The dicision to turn away has been made.
It's very specific emotion really. You're not jaded, you're the one who's BECOME jaded, in another's eyes. Like all there ever was to know has been split open for display.

The Pre-Imbalance
Surrender
to the depraved hands
pushing two
trash cans
give in
and swish around
under your skin
until it will slough off
relinquish
every don't
every not to begin
budding shudder
under your skin
growing to a
hideous so strained
it shakes your
dead living
skin off
