MOVIE REVIEW: 25th hr
What a great fucking movie. There were plot points that were on the art-fag side (i.e. the fuck you monologue, friends beating the shit out of friends, ooo the catharsis). But over all, that was one amazing movie. The heavy music and background 9/11 theme. Edward Nortons subtle constant despair, the dick stock trader who cared so much about his friend that with every conversation he had, he would get hung up and overwhelmed by his hopes on one side and the reality of who he was and what he thought of others on the other. And the fat blond dude, I used to hate him and now he blows me away in every performance I see him in. The ending was proof of spike lees amazing skill at directing, it grabbed me and didnt letting go.
With all the worthless shit Ive been getting recently from netflix, this was a prize indeed.

Its the dilemna of modern cinema... you have to bear through a lot of crap until you get something that doesn't make you lose all faith in American culture.
