alright so ive got under a month on SG, i guess ill make use of the time while im here.
Im really excited for march! ill be doing a lot of everything.
travel, film festivals, art showings, music! all comprised into a small segment of time. which i should actually be starting to organize, because i know if i dont ill leave some stuff out and then kick myself in the end.
Ive been working on my own personal work too, which is exciting because I never seem to take the time to work for myself.
everyone should check out my friends music page! Dylan Gates I used to play music with this guy, and for that period of time we considered ourselves musical soul mates (along with our bassist)...man, ide hate to toot my own horn but we really were ahead of the curve back then, and if not ahead, then along side the now considered "greats" ...then came along college and ruined everything. oh well. Im still trying to search down our old recordings.

for how awkward my state of being is right now, i actually feel really really good. Of course, every now and then i get reminded of where I am in life, and it brings me down, but ultimately i still have the say in what goes, so im overall in a good place.
I made some mongolian beef tonight for dinner...and decided to be a foodee and take a picture of it to show off but, it kind of came out kind of looking like dog food....
... it certinaly didnt taste like dog food though! The recipe was actually really good. The only thing that lacked was appearance. Ive been kind of weird with the colors of the food that ive been eating recently so I sprinkled some cilantro for some color contrast. The recipe asked for green onions but i forgot to pick some up, so cilantro had to do.

Ive been kind of lonely lately. Maybe vday got me a bit down..although I started feeling this a while before...but I definitely would like a partner in crime for the time being. I just dont know where to look! "They" say that this kind of stuff usually works out best when your not looking but beh, I need something to entertain my personal life, so why not.
